Counseling is a process in which the therapist and the client work together to clarify concerns, identify options and establish goals to work towards in order to resolve the issues that are causing you stress.
Some of the concerns which bring clients to my office include:
a desire to be more satisfied in their relationships or marriage
feelings of anxiety, sadness, anger, or depression
feeling overly stressed
grief and loss issues
coping with issues surrounding one's own or others drug or alcohol use
experiencing challenges during a time of transition (including job loss, health challenges, and changes in family status due to adjusting to parenthood and separation / divorce)
I am pleased to be offering video teletherapy via an encrypted website called doxy.me. There is no additional cost, signup process or account needed. I will provide you with a link to my virtual waiting room and I will meet you there at the beginning of each appointment.
It is common for clients to come into therapy during times of transition, and to develop tools and strategies to more effectively deal with the stressors in their lives.
